FRESHWATER RESIDENCY & APPRENTICESHIP
We are excited to introduce the new Freshwater Church Residency & Apprenticeship Program.
Through mentorship, ministry experience, and theological development, this program exists to help raise up spiritually mature and biblically grounded leaders for the church.
-
PROGRAM PURPOSE
Freshwater Church’s Residency & Apprenticeship Program exists to develop spiritually mature, theologically grounded, ministry-proven leaders through theological education, intentional mentorship, and hands-on ministry experience.
Our desire is to raise up leaders who are equipped to faithfully serve the church wherever God calls them.
-
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Men pursuing pastoral ministry will enter a 3-year Pastoral Residency, while women pursuing ministry leadership will enter a 2-year Ministry Apprenticeship focused on specific ministry leadership areas.
The program includes classroom learning, ministry training, mentorship, and practical leadership opportunities within the life of the church.
-
Positions & Application Process
Freshwater Church will offer 3 paid male residency positions and 3 paid female apprenticeship positions each year, along with additional unpaid positions for those desiring to grow and serve through the program.
All applicants will begin together in the fall trimester, with paid positions selected following the completion of the first trimester evaluation process.
